The adoption of a quality management system is a strategic decision for an organization that can help to improve its overall performance and provide a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives.
একটি গুণগত ব্যবস্থাপনা পদ্ধতি (Quality Management System) গ্রহণ করা প্রতিষ্ঠানের জন্য একটি কৌশলগত সিদ্ধান্ত, যা সামগ্রিক কর্মক্ষমতা উন্নত করতে এবং টেকসই উন্নয়ন উদ্যোগের জন্য একটি দৃঢ় ভিত্তি প্রদান করতে সহায়তা করে।

The potential benefits to an organization of implementing a quality management system based on this International Standard are:
এই আন্তর্জাতিক মানদণ্ডের উপর ভিত্তি করে একটি গুণগত ব্যবস্থাপনা পদ্ধতি বাস্তবায়নের মাধ্যমে প্রতিষ্ঠানের সম্ভাব্য উপকারিতা হলো:

a) the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements;

b) facilitating opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction;
খ) গ্রাহক সন্তুষ্টি বৃদ্ধি করার সুযোগ সৃষ্টি করা;

c) addressing risks and opportunities associated with its context and objectives;
গ) প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রেক্ষাপট (context) ও উদ্দেশ্যের সাথে সম্পর্কিত ঝুঁকি (risks) এবং সুযোগ (opportunities) মোকাবিলা করা;

d) the ability to demonstrate conformity to specified quality management system requirements.
ঘ) নির্ধারিত গুণগত ব্যবস্থাপনা পদ্ধতির প্রয়োজনীয়তার সাথে সামঞ্জস্য (conformity) প্রদর্শনের সক্ষমতা।

This International Standard can be used by internal and external parties.
এই আন্তর্জাতিক মানদণ্ড অভ্যন্তরীণ ও বাহ্যিক উভয় পক্ষ দ্বারা ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে।

It is not the intent of this International Standard to imply the need for:
এই আন্তর্জাতিক মানদণ্ডের উদ্দেশ্য নিম্নলিখিত বিষয়গুলোর প্রয়োজনীয়তা নির্দেশ করা নয়:

— uniformity in the structure of different quality management systems;

— alignment of documentation to the clause structure of this International Standard;

— the use of the specific terminology of this International Standard within the organization.
— প্রতিষ্ঠানের অভ্যন্তরে এই আন্তর্জাতিক মানদণ্ডের নির্দিষ্ট পরিভাষা (terminology) ব্যবহার করা।

The quality management system requirements specified in this International Standard are complementary to requirements for products and services.
এই আন্তর্জাতিক মানদণ্ডে নির্ধারিত গুণগত ব্যবস্থাপনা পদ্ধতির প্রয়োজনীয়তাগুলো পণ্য ও সেবার প্রয়োজনীয়তার পরিপূরক (complementary)।

This International Standard employs the process approach, which incorporates the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle and risk-based thinking.
এই আন্তর্জাতিক মানদণ্ডে প্রক্রিয়াভিত্তিক পদ্ধতি (process approach) প্রয়োগ করা হয়েছে, যা Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) চক্র এবং ঝুঁকিভিত্তিক চিন্তাধারা (risk-based thinking) অন্তর্ভুক্ত করে।

The process approach enables an organization to plan its processes and their interactions.
প্রক্রিয়াভিত্তিক পদ্ধতি প্রতিষ্ঠানকে তার প্রক্রিয়াসমূহ এবং সেগুলোর পারস্পরিক সম্পর্ক পরিকল্পনা করতে সক্ষম করে।

The PDCA cycle enables an organization to ensure that its processes are adequately resourced and managed, and that opportunities for improvement are determined and acted on.
PDCA চক্র প্রতিষ্ঠানকে নিশ্চিত করতে সহায়তা করে যে তার প্রক্রিয়াগুলো যথাযথ সম্পদ দ্বারা সমর্থিত এবং সুষ্ঠুভাবে পরিচালিত হচ্ছে, এবং উন্নয়নের সুযোগগুলো নির্ধারণ করে সে অনুযায়ী পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া হচ্ছে।

Risk-based thinking enables an organization to determine the factors that could cause its processes and its quality management system to deviate from the planned results, to put in place preventive controls to minimize negative effects and to make maximum use of opportunities as they arise (see Clause A.4).
ঝুঁকিভিত্তিক চিন্তাধারা প্রতিষ্ঠানকে সেই সকল কারণ নির্ধারণ করতে সহায়তা করে যা তার প্রক্রিয়া ও গুণগত ব্যবস্থাপনা পদ্ধতিকে পরিকল্পিত ফলাফল থেকে বিচ্যুত করতে পারে, এবং নেতিবাচক প্রভাব কমানোর জন্য প্রতিরোধমূলক নিয়ন্ত্রণ (preventive controls) স্থাপন করতে ও উদ্ভূত সুযোগগুলো সর্বোচ্চভাবে কাজে লাগাতে সক্ষম করে (দেখুন ধারা A.4)।

Consistently meeting requirements and addressing future needs and expectations poses a challenge for organizations in an increasingly dynamic and complex environment.
ক্রমবর্ধমান গতিশীল ও জটিল পরিবেশে ধারাবাহিকভাবে প্রয়োজনীয়তা পূরণ করা এবং ভবিষ্যৎ চাহিদা ও প্রত্যাশা মোকাবিলা করা প্রতিষ্ঠানের জন্য একটি চ্যালেঞ্জ।

To achieve this objective, the organization might find it necessary to adopt various forms of improvement in addition to correction and continual improvement, such as breakthrough change, innovation and re-organization.
এই লক্ষ্য অর্জনের জন্য, সংশোধন (correction) ও ধারাবাহিক উন্নয়ন (continual improvement) ছাড়াও প্রতিষ্ঠানকে ব্রেকথ্রু পরিবর্তন (breakthrough change), উদ্ভাবন (innovation) এবং পুনর্গঠন (re-organization) এর মতো বিভিন্ন ধরনের উন্নয়ন পদ্ধতি গ্রহণ করা প্রয়োজন হতে পারে।

In this International Standard, the following verbal forms are used:
এই আন্তর্জাতিক মানদণ্ডে নিম্নলিখিত শব্দগত রূপ (verbal forms) ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে:

— “shall” indicates a requirement;
— “shall” একটি বাধ্যতামূলক প্রয়োজনীয়তা নির্দেশ করে;

— “should” indicates a recommendation;
— “should” একটি সুপারিশ নির্দেশ করে;

— “may” indicates a permission;
— “may” একটি অনুমতি নির্দেশ করে;

Information marked as “NOTE” is for guidance in understanding or clarifying the associated requirement.
