Nickel Test Procedure

1.0  Purpose

To provide guidance to all the employees about conducting the nickel test and ensure a free product to the consumer.

 

2.0  Scope

The material control department in Fountain Garments Manufacturing Ltd.

 

3.0  Responsibility

Quality Controller/Auditor-Store

4.0  Procedure

From each received lot, the Quality Supervisor/Auditor will perform a nickel test. Place two drops of Ammonia & two drops of Dimethylglyoxime on the same cotton swab. Rub the tested part 10 seconds with that cotton swab & check the color of that swab. If the cotton swab turns pink = NOT OK & if the cotton swab does not turn pink = OK.

6.0 Definition

 

১.১ উদ্দেশ্য

নিকেল টেস্ট পরিচালনার বিষয়ে সমস্ত কর্মচারীদের গাইডেন্স প্রদান এবং ভোক্তাকে ক্ষতিকর নিকেল মুক্ত পণ্য সরবরাহ নিশ্চিত করা।

২.০ আওতা

স্টোরে প্রাপ্ত/ আগত সকল ধাতব এক্সেসরিজ এই প্রকৃয়ার অন্তর্গত।

৩.০ দায়ীত্ব

স্টোর কোয়ালিটি কন্ট্রোলার/কোয়ালিটি অডিটর ।

৪.০ প্রসেস

প্রতিটি লট থেকে কোয়ালিটি কন্ট্রোলার / অডিটর নিকেল পরীক্ষা করবেন। দুই ফোটা অ্যামোনিয়া এবং দুই ফোটা ডাইমিথাইলগ্লায়ক্সিম একই কটন সোয়াব এ রাখুন। সেই কটন সোয়াব দিয়ে পরীক্ষিত অংশ ১০ সেকেন্ড ঘষুন এবং সেই সোয়াবের রঙ পরীক্ষা করুন। যদি কটন সোয়াব গোলাপী হয়ে যায় = ঠিক নাই অর্থাৎ এতে নিকেল আছে এবং যদি তুলো সোয়াব গোলাপী না হয় = ঠিক আছে।
